Dominick Hellen, Ph.D.
CEO / Founder
With a background in molecular biology and bioengineering, Dominick became passionate about developing tools and models that accelerate translation research. He leads HTMP’s vision of integrating physiologically relevant cell culture systems with modern scale and functionality.
Robin Hellen, MS
Director of Operations
Robin brings over 20 years of experience supporting early-stage biotechnology companies, with a focus on regulatory affairs and operational infrastructure. She oversees the finance and organizational strategy at HTMP.
Saul J. Karpen, M.D., Ph.D., FAASLD
Principal Scientific Advisor
As inaugural Chief Scientific Officer of the Stravitz-Sanyal Institute for Liver Disease and Metabolic Health at Virginia Commonwealth University, Saul brings deep expertise in hepatology, translational research, and the evolving scientific needs our platforms are designed to address.
Founder's Note
"I started HTMP because the 3D cell culture systems I have worked with, while often promising, were too often limited by meaningful tradeoffs. I wanted to build a platform that I would want to use myself - one designed for efficiency, relevant data, and fewer confounders. Our first product, the HTMP 192, reflects that vision, and ultimately serves as the foundation for a broader framework of technologies built around such principles."
