Questions & Answers

How do I apply the coating?

Coat: Add 15 µL anti-adherence solution over the microwell field. Incubate 5 minutes at room temperature, then centrifuge for 5 minutes at 1,000g to remove bubbles and fully wet the wells.

Remove and prime: Aspirate from one spot on the microwell field. Add 20 µL cell-free media to the microwell field, then aspirate again from the same spot.

Seed: Add cells to the microwell field, centrifuge 5 minutes at 150g to settle cells into microwells, then fill the access area with media and incubate.

Is the coating compatible with all cell types?

Yes. The coating has been validated with a broad range of cell types including primary cells and standard cell lines and does not interfere with viability, differentiation, or downstream assays when used as directed.

Does the coating affect imaging or assays?

No. The coating is optically clear, non-auto-fluorescent, and compatible with brightfield, fluorescence, and high-content imaging workflows.
